Props: pink makeup brushes and makeup powders, gold makeup brushes, camera, mirrors, bed, plants, roses, crown


Lighting: natural lighting, high-key lighting, red lighting, fairy lights


Costume: white top, black top


Colour:  red, green, gold


Location: little girl bedroom, bedroom, living room 



The mise-en-scene in this video is the main way of moving the story along. the artists is clearly portrayed as the star  as he sits in an armchair and sings through the entire music video as the backgrounds changes. The lighting is very important for the contrast and cyclical structure of the video.

The artist I am looking at to inspire my music video and website is Ali Gatie, who is signed to Warner Music.  Ali Gatie  is an Iraqi–Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter. Ali Gatie's website gives off a R&B/Soul vibe through the pink/purple background he uses along with the pink light that was used in the photo of him.   Lower we get an option to watch and listen to his latest music video still on a purple background corresponding to his music genre.  Scrolling further down we get links to his individual albums, his website clearly resembling his newest album "Running on my mind". "ill manors" analysis

Analysing the music video for "ill Manors" by Plan B "This isn't a song that glorifies violence, riots and looting. Rather, it is an attempt to satirise the views of those with greater means when they judge the less fortunate. Although it appears to promote a self-fulfilling prophecy of anti-social behaviour, it is using media assumptions of the current political and economic situation as a lampoon. All in all a very well written song."-YouTube comments The music video starts with the sound of an old dirty truck with it's engine running before the music starts to set the mood and atmosphere the kind of pace they are in, while presenting an exponential shot of the area. The close up shot of Ben here makes him seem more aggresive and threatening towards the audience which carries his idea of being from a council house and violent.
