Ali Gatie website analysis

The artist I am looking at to inspire my music video and website is Ali Gatie, who is signed to Warner Music.  Ali Gatie  is an Iraqi–Canadian rapper, singer and songwriter. Ali Gatie's website gives off a R&B/Soul vibe through the pink/purple background he uses along with the pink light that was used in the photo of him.   Lower we get an option to watch and listen to his latest music video still on a purple background corresponding to his music genre.  Scrolling further down we get links to his individual albums, his website clearly resembling his newest album "Running on my mind". Right at the end of the website we get a link to his merch and all his social medias.  This is the music video I will be analysing and taking inspiration from "It's You"  The music video opens up with a dark street, some lamp light onto a white old fashioned car. Newspaper Review - Tuesday 24th March 2020 - Lockdown

The Daily Star has chosen to use some WW1 British propaganda as their main story image, the worlds prom the propaganda poser have been altered from "Your Country Needs You" to this, the direct address of  Kitchener pointing and his direct gaze engages the reader, the word "you" also engages the reader and encourages to listen. The use of Propaganda connotes the idea of the government manipulation and encouragement. The use of language is informal, making it easy to read and fun, the word "naff" adds a sense of humor which makes the idea of self quarantine more approachable and funny. The newspaper shows no political allegiance yet it seems to make fun of Boris Johnsons words as he told people to stay at home for lockdown. Surprisingly the Prime Minister hasn't been used as the main photograph.
