I worked hard on making my artist be represented as someone who is fighting against societies expectations. On the website this is portrayed through the organic theme in the photos, the artist is surrounded by nature and acts as though they are one. this is in keeping with her ideologies of women being best when they are natural and not living up to societies standards. I think the music video carries the message of societies influence really well, starting from a young age and carrying it into the future but a lot more extreme.  Something I would improve on my website would be the the overall layout in order to better portray the music genre of my artists, I would possibly edit the photos in order to make them a bit more darker and deeper. I would definitely like to change the album cover to match the genre like the website. Somethin

Day 3:  Today I participated in another music video, this allowed me to think about any problems I might face with mise-en-scene as well as lighting and angles. This has also inspired me to be ambitious with the camera positioning and movement.

  Day 1 : I have been experimenting with the type of animation I would like to create for my music video. To show a complete contrast between real life and the animation I would like to keep the animation in black and white, this will allow the audience to focus mainly on the changes that happen in the animation. However I may possibly make one aspect of the drawing coloured like the lips.

Mise-en-scene in my music video

Props : pink makeup brushes and makeup powders, gold makeup brushes, camera, mirrors, bed, plants, roses, crown Lighting : natural lighting, high-key lighting, red lighting, fairy lights Costume : white top, black top Colour :  red, green, gold Location : little girl bedroom, bedroom, living room  The mise-en-scene in this video is the main way of moving the story along. the artists is clearly portrayed as the star  as he sits in an armchair and sings through the entire music video as the backgrounds changes. The lighting is very important for the contrast and cyclical structure of the video.
